A-Men (Antiochian Men)

Purpose Statement: To provide the men of St. Nicholas an opportunity to meet, study, and work together for the glory of God.

Goals: Expand the leadership group; provide home improvement or repair workshops/workdays for parish members; trip to a monastery; update the Men of St. Nicholas website; sponsor a dinner on Parish Night; IOCC Disaster Relief project; father/son or father/daughter outing—breakfast, golf, softball game.

Activities: The cornerstone of the men’s group is our monthly meetings on the second Saturday of each month. It is a chance for fellowship and education—we try to have a guest speaker monthly. In addition, the men are called on to help other ministry teams for manpower. Another highlight is our pilgrimage to a monastery. We also participate in the Middle Eastern Dinner, the Lazarus Saturday Spring Cleaning, and Holy Thursday Breakfast.
