Creation Care

Purpose Statement: To care for God’s creation as He intended. Learning and practicing together to be faithful and effective stewards of the environment.

Goals: Develop stewardship curriculum for K–8 Christian Education; educate and encourage sustainability practices parish-wide through discussions, presentations, film and social media postings; complete trail dedication video and post online; encourage outdoor trail maintenance and use; create a space for reflection and prayer with Icon and bench inside new acreage; continue to reforest original farm plot and develop trails and places to rest in that space; explore “Blessing of the Wild Waters” short pilgrimage from St. George to Grand River; complete woodlot inventories—flora, fauna, water quality, invasive species.
