Evangelism

Purpose Statement: To invite our surrounding community to learn about the fullness of the Christian faith as experienced in the Orthodox Church.

Goals: Hold 1-2 Evangelism events per year in which we invite non-Orthodox to learn about our faith; have a rotating group of hosts manning our Visitor Table each week, welcoming our guests and giving them our Visitor Packet; meet with our guests to answer questions and introduce to others, Q&A Table manned by clergy; update our website with additional information for the non-Orthodox inquirer; encourage a more welcoming, evangelistic community at St. Nicholas.

Join Us: Be welcoming and say “Hello” to people you don’t know. Invite a friend to church or a church event. Join us for our annual events focusing on aspects of our Orthodox Faith and being a visitor table host.
