Myrrhbearers

Purpose Statement: Just like the Myrrhbearing women of the New Testament, this group of young ladies enter in the life of the church and Works of mercy to become invested in their Orthodox Faith.

Goals: To help the girls and young women of our parish to find ways to use and develop their God-given gifts to serve Christ and his Church; to foster fellowship and develop relationships among the females of our parish as we serve together, creating a sisterhood of service.

Activities: Annual Tea Party, Greeting, Ushering, Bulletin distribution, Icon decorating, chanting, Holy Friday Lamentations service procession, Holy Saturday Changing of Colors, service projects and more!
